What a day. The union of Quinton and Melissa.
I can’t even begin to explain the emotions running through me. Excited, terrified, overwhelmed, joyous, and honored are a good place to start. (I’m sure our newly-weds could echo much of those same emotions.) Melissa was one of the many who was there with me at ground zero my freshman year. She loved, encouraged, and laughed with me the whole way through. I am so joyful to have been a part of Mel & Q’s wedding mirroring only a small amount of what they did for me just a few years ago. Thank you.
God put these two together, and He did not make a mistake. At any given moment of the day, I was on the verge of tears. I couldn’t hold it back during the ceremony, and I was proud of it. Crying, celebrating, and worshiping with fellow brothers and sisters is an experience unlike any other.
To the family & friends, thank you for making me feel at ease. I was so nervous coming into this day being this was my first time shooting a wedding. Thank you for making it such a pleasant and joyous experience. I don’t have much else to say, as I am still processing how faithful the Lord has been to be these past couple years. I am beaming with gratitude and love. This whole weekend was such a needed reminder.
To Mel & Quinton, blessing on your marriage & y’all da real MVPs.
