They are engaged, y’all! This is certainly a happy day!
I am one of the many who have the pleasure of being in Miss Emily’s life. Here are some of my favorite things about her:
Her enthusiasm for Friends. I am still amazed when she recites countless quotes from any character/any season/any situation with the exact timing and inflection. We spent the majority of our Sophomore year watching every episode. Oh, the memories.
Her gentleness. Her call for nursing provides her with a sweet and loving disposition. I am proud of her for being dedicated to this degree, and I can’t wait to see where it takes her.
The company she keeps. It is no surprise that this lovely of a woman attracts a guy like David. I am overjoyed to see these two taking the next step in their relationship and being witness to their continual growth towards God and one another. Also, Emily is a package deal. Along with Emily, I got her whole family. Oh what a gift this family has been for me the past couple years. Thank you to Maria, Hannah, Kate, Mr. and Mrs. Shickel for taking me in and loving me so well. <3
